How to Connect to an ANT BMS and Enable Charge/Discharge MOSFETs

1️⃣ Download the ANT BMS App

For iOS (iPhone/iPad):

Note: This is the official app for ANT BMS on iOS. Some older apps like Xiaoxiang BMS are not fully compatible with all ANT BMS models.

For Android:

Instructions:

  1. Download and unzip the file on your Android phone or computer.

  2. Open the folder and install the ANT_BMS.apk file.

  3. You may need to allow "Install from Unknown Sources" in your phone settings

 

2️⃣ Connect to the BMS via Bluetooth

  1. Power ON your battery with the ANT BMS installed.

  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.

  3. Open the ANT BMS App.

  4. Tap the DeviceList button towards the top right of the screen.

  1. Select your BMS (it usually starts with "BMS" or "ANT_BMS") and tap Confirm.

  2. You should now see battery information on the dashboard.

 

3️⃣ Enable Charge & Discharge MOSFETs

  1. Tap the BMS CONTROL button on the bottom row.

  2. Now tap OnCHG and OnDisCHG buttons you see on the screen that have the lightning bolt with the circle around it. 

  3. Now tap the State button on the bottom left.

  4. Ensure that in the ProtectInfo portion of this screen, that it does not say ChargeMos or DischargeMos Manual Off
  5. Your BMS should now be putting out power to your controller
