Removing Old Battery - Always ensure your board is powered off before beginning. When removing the old battery, you MUST first unplug the BMS connector (white long plug on the right of BMS) and then unplug the XT60 from the old battery. Please allow the 30 seconds before you install the new battery. If not done in this order, you run the risk of shorting out the BMS or potentially even the controller.

Installing OnlyAmps Upgraded Battery - After unplugging the old battery and waiting 30 seconds, you can begin the installation of your new OnlyAmps battery. You MUST first plug in the XT60 plug from the new battery into the BMS and then you can install the BMS connector (white long plug on the right). If not done in this order, you run the risk of shorting out the BMS or potentially even the controller.

OnlyAmps is not responsible for any damage to person or property caused by improper installation. All our batteries are fully tested with a stock BMS, Controller and Motor. If there is damage to your package upon arrival, you will need to take pictures of any damage to the battery and contact us ASAP. We may suggest not installing if there is significant damage. This is a DIY replacement and you assume all risk. I do suggest watching this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ezL7lf9WIg&t=432s) on how to swap batteries. There are mentions of cutting the BMS cover but that MAY only apply to those who are buying our OnlyAmps BigBOI 4.2ah battery. Even then, most do not even have to cut the plastic at all to fit our BigBOI. :D
